3D face biometrics gives the assurance that the granted person came to a specific person. The nature of this method eliminates the possibility of access card’s borrowing to another person or possibility of using the photo.

Highest reliability and security

Broadway 3D offers in these days the highest level of access control security. The access is allowed only in that case, when the loaded 3D picture matches the picture, stored in the database. In case of unauthorized access attempt is the system able to log this event and evaluate it using statistics. Broadway 3D cannot be cheated by the user using borrowed or stolen identifier, as in the case of other ID media. This device eliminates human factor fault, which can happen for example in the situation, when the attention of security worker is decreased because of crowd of people at the entrance device.

Speed, fluency, casualness

Capacity of the Broadway control point reaches up to 60 people per minute even at database size >10.000 people. This property increases the throughput of any control point or turnstile with possible option of identification cards removal and keeping of high security level

Contrary to competitor systems of face recognition, Broadway 3D system uses the new generation 3D camera, which allows imaging in the wide range of view 41°, what gives the possibility to reliable catch the face of person with middle high of adult person (child, immobile person). Simultaneously the camera captures images using a speed 15 fps in strobe mode, what allows you to catch the face of even running person. Both of these unique properties bring in connection with digital analysis these advantages:

No need to stop before the identification camera; walk through and the system will record dozen images of your face and will make your identification; if you’d like, you can even run.
No problems with height; one sensor is enough for all users in height range of 70cm, without a need of request to people for behaving unnatural before a camera.
Thanks to a new recognition algorithm the system is stable even at partial change of person’s look; facial expressions, beard, sunglasses, cap, hat, protective tools.

Security of personal information

Most of biometric methods count with necessary storage of sensitive personnel data – those ones, which people don’t usually share with their surroundings (fingerprint, iris or retina picture, etc.). This leads to real risks of personnel data abuse against their owners (biometric falsification for unauthorized access, manufacture of forgery proofs for courts, access to sensitive medical data, etc.).
